How do I book a tour with Gandaki Travels?+

You can book a tour by filling out our enquiry form on the Enquiry Page, calling us at +91-9812345678, emailing info@gandakitravels.in, or visiting our office in person. Our team will get back to you with all the details and help you complete the booking.

What payment methods do you accept?+

We accept multiple payment methods including bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), credit/debit cards, and cash payments at our office. For international bookings, we also accept PayPal and wire transfers.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?+

Our cancellation policy varies by tour type. Generally, cancellations made 30+ days before departure receive 75% refund, 15-30 days receive 50% refund, and less than 15 days may receive no refund. Please refer to our Refund Policy page for detailed terms.

Do you provide travel insurance?+

Yes, we offer optional travel insurance for all our packages. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to cover unexpected events such as trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost baggage, and flight delays.

Are meals included in the tour package?+

Most of our packages include breakfast and dinner (MAP plan). Some premium packages include all meals (AP plan). The specific meal inclusions are clearly mentioned in each tour itinerary. Lunch is usually on your own to allow flexibility.

Can I customize a tour package?+

Absolutely! We specialize in customized tour packages. You can modify the itinerary, choose different hotels, add or remove destinations, and adjust the duration to match your preferences and budget. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

What documents are required for international tours?+

For international tours, you need a valid passport (minimum 6 months validity from the date of return), visa for the destination country (we assist with visa processing), confirmed return flight tickets, and travel insurance. Some countries may require additional documents.

Do you handle visa processing?+

Yes, we assist with visa processing for all our international tour packages. Our team will guide you through the documentation requirements and submit the application on your behalf. Visa fees are generally not included in the tour price unless specified.

What type of accommodation can I expect?+

We offer a range of accommodation options from budget guesthouses to 5-star luxury hotels. By default, our packages include 3-star equivalent hotels with clean rooms, attached bathrooms, and modern amenities. You can upgrade to higher categories at additional cost.

Is it safe to travel with children/elderly on your tours?+

Yes, our tours are designed to be family-friendly and comfortable for all age groups. For pilgrimage tours, we provide extra assistance to elderly travelers. For adventure tours, we recommend checking the physical requirements mentioned in the itinerary. Our guides are trained to handle diverse group needs.

How many people are typically in a group tour?+

Our group tours typically have 15-25 travelers. This ensures a sociable experience while maintaining personal attention. We also offer private tours for families and small groups who prefer exclusive arrangements.

What happens if a tour is cancelled due to weather/natural disasters?+

In case of force majeure events like natural disasters, political unrest, or extreme weather, we offer flexible options including rescheduling your tour for a later date, transferring to an alternative destination, or a refund as per our force majeure policy.
